What are Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions?
Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions are a beautiful way to extend the length and thickness of your natural eyelashes. Each lash extension is applied to your own individual natural eyelash for a totally natural, elegant or voluminous look to add fullness and or length to your existing lashes. Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions are semi-permanent and are made of the highest quality synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. Each individual client application is custom designed and tailored to their wants, needs, and lifestyle for the perfect look.
How long does the appointment last?
When properly applied, Xtreme Lashes® can last indefinitely, as long as fills or touch-ups are maintained every 2-3 weeks to maintain fullness. When properly applied, each lash extension will remain attached to the natural lash until the lash sheds. Touch-ups are recommended after initial full set application to replace any lashes that may have shed, and fills are recommended every 2-3 weeks. Typically clients will naturally shed 1-5 lashes per day, depending on your lash growth cycle. Properly applied lashes will last for the length of the natural growth cycle (approximately 60-90 days) of each eyelash hair.
How do I care for my Lash Extensions?
It is recommended to avoid water, heat, sauna, steam and friction, chemical peels, skin resurfacing, etc. for the first 48 hours after application as constant heat and moisture weakens the adhesive bond resulting in premature lash extension loss. Care must be taken not to rub or scratch eye area. Any oil based creams, eye makeup removers, makeup, lotions, or cleansers can loosen the bond of Xtreme Lashes® Lash Extensions. The use of Xtreme Eye Makeup Remover is very HIGHLY recommended. Daily and nightly cleansing of the eye area is very important to remove any residual oils or makeup build up. Use lint free products to remove eye make up such as Lint Free Applicators to remove stubborn makeup between the lashes and on the lash line. Care must be taken to apply eye cream sparingly with avoidance of the lash line area.
Can I add mascara to Lash Extensions?
Only Xtreme Lashes® Length & Volume Mascara or Xtreme Lashes® Volumizing Mascara that are specially made for lash extensions can be used; however constant use of mascara may shorten the life-span of you lashes. WATERPROOF MASCARA IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE AS IT WILL COMPROMISE THE BOND WITH THE LASHES. (P.S. Xtreme Lashes® GlideLiner™ Long Lasting Eye Pencil compliment any set of eyes!)
